APAN TPU – High-performance TPU compounds for wheels, casters and technical components
Godiplast expands its technical materials portfolio with APAN TPU, a range of thermoplastic polyurethane compounds for injection molding, specifically engineered for industrial wheels, casters and wear-exposed technical parts.
The APAN TPU range offers a wide selection of hardness levels and mechanical behaviors, from highly elastic soft TPU grades to rigid polyester TPU, enabling precise material selection for industrial wheels and casters, rollers and dynamic technical components.
Grade positioning:
- APAN TPU TMP 75 – Soft TPU-TPS
Shore A 76, very high elongation at break (> 600 %) and excellent tear resistance. Designed for wheels and casters requiring elasticity, rolling comfort and shock absorption, as well as complex molded parts.
- APAN TPU MA 80 – Soft polyester TPU
Very low abrasion (< 30 mm³) combined with high tensile strength (> 40 MPa). Ideal for durable industrial wheels and casters exposed to repetitive mechanical stress.
- APAN TPU MA 50 D – Hard polyester TPU
High-rigidity grade (Shore D 51) with tear resistance above 110 N/mm and excellent wear behavior. Perfectly suited for load-bearing wheels, casters and rollers operating under high static and dynamic loads.
With APAN TPU, Godiplast offers a high-performance solution for demanding wheel and castor applications – ranging from elastic, shock-absorbing grades to highly load-bearing compounds.
