POLYCORK: Technology Meets Nature
POLYCORK is a natural fiber-reinforced compound developed on the basis of cork and thermoplastics. It is highly versatile and can be processed easily using injection molding or extrusion – without the need for complex special procedures. This enables both technical and design-oriented applications to be realized economically.
Cork combined with modern carrier polymers such as TPE, TPU, TPO, PP, PE, EVA, and even PLA – for particularly environmentally friendly applications.
Easy Processing
POLYCORK can be processed just like a conventional thermoplastic. For best results, pre-drying at 70 °C for 2–3 hours is recommended.
