New PLASTYR PC/ABS Range at Godiplast
Reliable technical solutions – including recycled grades – for demanding parts
Godiplast is expanding its portfolio of engineering thermoplastics with three PC/ABS grades in the PLASTYR range. These blends are designed for applications subject to mechanical, thermal and aesthetic constraints in automotive, industrial and consumer equipment parts.
Our goal: to offer compounds that are stable in processing, robust in service, and aligned with the growing requirements of the European market – in particular regarding recycled content.
PLASTYR PC/ABS GF 30 028/2M
For rigid, dimensionally stable structural parts
PC/ABS grade reinforced with 30% glass fibres, UV- and heat-stabilised, designed for heavily stressed parts, including in outdoor environments.
This material is particularly suitable where stiffness, dimensional stability and heat resistance are top priorities.
PLASTYR PC/ABS M10I35 028 V5
For hotter, more demanding environments
High heat / high impact PC/ABS grade, UV- and heat-stabilised, designed for parts that combine thermal stress and impact requirements, while maintaining good surface appearance.
In brief:
- Well-balanced stiffness / impact performance
- Charpy notched, 23 °C: approx. 30 kJ/m²
- Stable injection moulding process in the 260–290 °C range
Applications:
- Dashboard components
- Pillar trims and interior claddings
- Rear lamp housings
- Household appliances and visible housings
This grade is recommended for visible parts exposed to heat and impact, where dimensional stability and appearance must remain consistent over time.
PLASTYR PC/ABS TS 009
Recycled grade to meet European automotive circularity targets
PLASTYR PC/ABS TS 009 is a thermally stabilised recycled compound, developed for standard applications where circularity must be integrated without sacrificing essential performance.
In a context where OEMs and Tier suppliers increasingly request recycled PC/ABS (CO₂ footprint reduction, alignment with CSR policies and internal specifications), this grade offers a pragmatic, industrially viable solution.
Key material points:
- Very good impact resistance for a recycled grade
- Good flow in injection (MFR ≥ 10) for efficient cavity filling
- Flexural strength: approx. 75 MPa
Typical fields of use:
- Automotive interior / exterior (non safety-relevant parts)
- Industrial parts and functional housings
- Various covers, casings and protective elements
Benefits for your projects:
- Possibility to reduce the share of virgin material while maintaining performance at the level required for standard applications
- Improved environmental profile of parts (recycled content transparently integrated into the BOM)
- Attractive cost/performance ratio, particularly interesting for medium to high volume parts
PLASTYR PC/ABS TS 009 is therefore a relevant option for projects where recycled content, cost control and compliance with European automotive industry expectations are key decision criteria.
