SECULENE PP – Glass-Fiber-Reinforced Compounds

SECULENE PP Copo GF compounds are modified polypropylene copolymers, reinforced with glass fibers and produced from recycled materials. Their formulation makes it possible to combine:

• High mechanical properties
• Extended thermal resistance
• Tunable stiffness or flexibility depending on the grade
• Good dimensional stability

Main Technical Characteristics

• MVR: 4 to 27 cm³/10 min (DIN ISO 1133)
• Ash content: up to 41%
• Flexural modulus: up to 7000 MPa
• Charpy impact strength: up to 25 kJ/m²
• Thermal aging: >1000 h at 150 °C
• Available modifications: improved thermal stability, enhanced impact resistance, adjusted mechanical stiffness.

Typical Applications

Engine components, interior structural parts, and hidden technical parts.
