SLOVAMID: Technical Performance, Ready to Use

Godiplast is expanding its portfolio with new Slovamid types, specifically developed to meet the demands of injection molding. The range covers key requirements – from high toughness at low temperatures to extreme stiffness, flame-retardant properties (halogenated and halogen-free), and carbon options for components with particularly high modulus. Data sheets and application examples are based on established industrial reference documentation.

Why SLOVAMID?

  • Robust even in the cold: Modified PA6/PA66 types with elastomers, impact-resistant down to –40 °C.

  • Metal replacement through high reinforcement: Glass fiber contents up to 65% for highly stressed structural parts.

  • Safety & compliance: Flame-retardant types according to UL 94 V0 and GWFI 960 °C for electrotechnical applications.

Outstanding technical properties:

  • High mechanical strength (tensile & load)
  • Excellent abrasion and wear resistance
  • Dimensional stability and rigidity
  • High chemical resistance (oils, solvents, aggressive agents)
  • Performance at low temperatures
  • Reinforcement with fibers and mineral fillers
  • Thermal stability at high temperatures
  • Resistance to UV, moisture and weathering
  • Design flexibility and functional integration
  • Demanding automotive grades
